A List of Best WordPress Plugins for a Blog

Everyone loves a clean-looking blog, nobody likes to visit a blog where there is no white space and there is content everywhere. I have been using WordPress for more than 7 years and I know how tempting it can be, at the start, to add more and more features to the site. You just can't help it as a beginner.

Now, after going through everything, I prefer to create 1-column simple WordPress blogs that are clean and minimalistic. In fact, I have started loving the WordPress default themes (like Twenty Twenty and Twenty Twenty One) with a bit of customization - they are fast and clean.

Here, I am providing a list of all the WordPress Plugins that I have been using lately. They do not make your WordPress site slow.

Let's take a look at the list:

Best WordPress plugins for a blog

  1. Twentig — to further customize the Twenty Twenty theme
  2. LiteSpeed Cache — for caching (the best one I have ever used)
  3. Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags — for link previews on social media
  4. XML Sitemaps — to generate an automatic sitemap
  5. 301 Redirects — to 301 redirect any internal page to an external or another internal page
